Which bracelet for Snowflake?
Hello.
I have recently purchased a 9411 Snowflake which did not have a bracelet. I like to ask which bracelets would work for the watch? I like very much the rivet but it is a little costly, and usually stretch very quick, can anyone confirm? Should 7836 work? With which end link is better? Will you pick 7836 over 78360? Not sure what is biggest difference. I like the style of those bracelet more than for 93150 with the buckle to close. Thanks everybody. |

9315 or c&i.....neither of which are great for everyday wear. I put mine in the safe and rock the nato. Much more comfortable. If you do obtain make sure you get the correct year or +/- 2 years of production date.

Can 7836 or 78360 work? No problem by me if not correct period.

Also as I ask above, is a 7836 or 78360 possible? No problem if not correct. Are they also not good for everyday use? Thx |

C&I is a rivet bracelet. Some find them uncomfortable, some don't. They are really light and somewhat flimsy feeling. They also do not have a flip lock clasp, same as the 7836 & 78360. Where as the 9315 and 93150 have a flip lock clasp (Safer for rougher activities and diving). It all comes down to personal preference. Personally, I wear my subs on nato's as I'm pretty active daily and they tend to be more comfortable and versatile in my opinion. |

The 9315 would have come on it new.
7836 could have been a dealer installed option, but not likely. 93150 I think is the best compromise. Has the look of the 9315 (sort of) and is more comfortable and durable. All that said I'm on the lookout for the correct year 9315 for mine... |

Is the C&I bracelet cheaper than the Swiss rivet? I read before that the rivet usually stretch easy, not sure if this is true, and not sure what is the usual cost for them. Please bare as I don't know, but will both the 7836 and 78360 fit on the snow flake? Which you suggest between the two? In picture from google they don't look too different. My friend has a 78360 instead of 93150 on his sub and I really like it better than the 93150, because without the flip lock. Thx much! |

Yes, both the 7836 and 78360 will fit on the sub. The 7836 and 9315 are both folded link bracelets. Lighter and harder to size with no screws, only micro adjustments in the clasp. The 78360 is a hollow link bracelet, but more solid feeling than the folded link 7836. Personally I would wear one with the flip lock, but as you said you don't want that, I would go for a 78360 for its sturdier and more solid feel. |

I have a 9411/0 thta dates to 1976. It was found on a 9315 with an 'A' date code, which is also 1976. First, I find folded bands to be hair waxers. They also don't really sit right. The solid bands are great, 93150. Natos are comfy, except they smell after a few days. I don't (think I ) have a hygiene issue, LOL

I have 2 1970 9315s (one is with Mike Young) a 1976 9315 and two 1972 c&i bracelets. Each is attached to a watch. I could wear on my 93150 or 78360 but on the west coast it is too hot to wear them. Natos all the way around. Also the early bracelets are light and not well made which was not too much of an issue when the watches were worth a few hundo. Now with values where they are.....I go nato. If one spring bar fails then I have a back up with the NATO. Trust me I dig the vintage look of both the 9315 and c&i....but the Natos cost like 2 bucks a piece and can be switched out in a snap.

I prefer the 93150s for daily wear. Just seems more solid and stronger.
