Which Navitimer in summary
Hey Guys,
I have recently taking a liking to the Navitimer. That said I prefer a smaller sized watch preferably at the 40mm level and defintley not exceeding 41mm. In the little research Ive done I note a lot of the modern versions are quite large and hoped the forum could perhaps summarize the models and options I should search for. I'm not adverse to vintage that said I can go either way, the only caveats are size and cost. Which vintage and which more modern version should I look out for and why? Thanks |

The reference 806, would be my pick. Why? Because the original is perfect (the proportions are spot on, the heritage is un-rivaled) & IMO the modern iterations are far too large & blingy.

I'm not sure of your wrist size, but will say that with a 6.5" wrist, the 43mm Navi 01 LE looked great on my wrist. I did eventually sell it during my flipping stage to get my AP and VC, but liked the look so much that I bought a Sinn 903st which gave me the 100m WR I wanted with the Navitimer look.
