Help buying a 5167a

Hello everyone,

After much debate and many hours spent on this forum I've decided to pursue an Aquanaut!

Unfortunately the AD that I have a relationship with does not carry PP. That being said will I be able to get a discount on this watch and can anybody recommend an AD that will be able to do so?

Thank you all so much!

Some discussions on this thread say it's quite a challenge finding an AD that has availability. Not exactly sure about the locale this has been an issue. Have you considered trying the trusted seller route like davidsw or Takuya?

I don't think any AD will give you any kind of discount on it, and you will probably pay a little over retail if you go grey dealer route, the watch is in super high demand in SS, almost like the 5711, you can forget about it in many countries but in the US you should be able to get one I would think, just takes time and patience but many members here got one, just call all the AD's, especially the small ones, and try to put your name on a few lists...

Tourneau in Vegas. Mike is a solid rep there. Very knowledgable and has taken care of me in the past

You want one of the most difficult watches to source, from an AD where you will have no history and a discount? Mmmmm. Me thinks a unicorn may be easier to spot

Clearly I understand the situation is not ideal. Just wondering if anyone could help.

Hamilton Jeweler's in Princeton, ask for Vera. And I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the watch, never mind a discount.

Go to patek website and start calling all the smaller market ADs. Ask if they have one in stock and make an offer if they do. Might take half an hour but I bet you can track one down somewhere.

No problem. But I wouldn't expect more than 5% off. Full retail is the most likely scenario

Right here on the forum, you can have it tomorrow.

DavidSW has a new one in stock, Takuya has one preowned also in stock.

And for a nice discount too.
