I was the winning bidder and most of the watch appears to be original (sans band) I just can't seem to find another watch with a dial like this one.

I was the guy you were bidding against. Haha! Dial is a write-off. Refinished and badly. It's mislabeled, it's a 6103 bubble back and as long as the movement is okay, you got it at a good price. A good dial will be harder than hell to find though, but you did well.

Joe showed me this about two minutes before it closed. Even knowing it was a redial, I still might have taken a punt at that price if I didn't know he'd be bidding on it.

Too funny on the bidding! I'm not too committed to the watch, just thought if I could get it for less than $600 it was worth a flyer. I will look around for a dial and if no luck send it on down to Joe.
