Either that, or he took a long time checking his voicemail.

600 for 500 retailers really sucks, and you can be sure that a large amount will never make it to any retailer and will be sold directly to Stern friends or big clients who have big collections, and many will either wind up in banks getting no wrist time or sell them for a huge profit on the grey market, you just need to see the number of 5575 and 5131 being sold that way for huge premiums, if I could have one I would wear it as much as possible and in no way would I part with it, but what do you want, life isn't always fair, they could have done a little more than only 300 each, at least 500 each, or at minimum 400 since the 40th

Too bad they are making almost 600...I think they should have gone ultra exclusive even more so. Maybe do a 200 release, 100 release and a ultra exclusive 40 release. Either way will be fun to see what the powers have decided. My AD's have not heard anything about them.

Have to agree. All pure speculation!! I don't believe 40 is special enough for LE but 50 definitely is.

I know there will be at least one new naut ref, prob some updating to old ones as well. 5990r could happen as well as a dozen other possibilities.

I keep hearing that the only thing happening is the new special anniversary watch in limited numbers.

My AD told me not to get too excited about it. They seemed to be pretty plugged in.

I don't know, the Queen was 90 this year and the country has gone bananas in celebration, her 100th will be truly phenomenal, maybe June will even be declared a holiday, hope you get there, Mam!

The Lord Chamberlain will be commanded by Her Majesty to send one to herself. Or it could be William, he seems to be doing everything now as if he is the heir, Charles has really been ushered aside publicly.

I have been having some email exchanges with PP regarding a trip to Geneva I have in September. They have kindly arranged a few things for me so I thought I would press them on being able to view any new Nautilus 40th Anniversary pieces on the day they have organised as a Salon visit. The reply was

"I very much doubt that we will know anything about the 40th Anniversary Nautilus until at least October...but would you like to...."

Ha ha that told me!!
