New GMT II

Hi to all,

Became the happy owner of a new GMT 2 last Wednesday. I had a question regarding winding and power reserve. Is it necessary for me to wind the watch daily ? I'm proposing the watch to be for everyday wear and perhaps alternate with another watch.

Thank you
alex

should be ok once it is fully winded. no need to wear every day, every second day also good

A BIG welcome, Alex and many congratulations on your new purchase. I'm sure that you're delighted with your GMT .

As Steve has said, certainly if you're going to wear it daily, you'll never have to wind it up manually and mine seems to be OK if I leave it hibernating for a day .

Welcome
The power reserve of your GMT is around 48 hours from a full wind. Further as you wear the watch, the power reserve is replenished by the movement of your wrist activating the automatic winding component of the movement.
Thus as the guys have said, if you wear your GMT every day, then you should never really have to worry about winding it at all.

Did you get the ceramic bezel insert model?
