Ultimately, some of us have a more vintage/retro aesthetic, and some of us have a more contemporary aesthetic, which was the point I was trying to make with the car comparison above.

I prefer the 6 digit model cases to the others. Fits my wrist better.

I love the idea of owning a new Sub, but I just didn't care for the look on my wrist. When the Tudor Black Bay Black came out, that scratched the itch for me--I bought that model the first time I tried it on.

I much prefer the 6 digit subs. Subs to previous models. Why specifically... I don't know perhaps it's the ceramic bezel. For me, the combination of the ceramic bezel and beefier lugs works. As for the DJII... I prefer the aesthetics of the DJ. That said, I think a 40 mm DJ would work perfectly.
