COSC No-date Submariner discontinued?
Wanted confirmation. Saw this post by an online retailer:
Quote:
Pictures and specifications indicate that it is the COSC model. |

I don't think that on-line retailers have an inside track on this..
That might be the last place I look for confirmation...

Actually, the rumor started here (Philippines) last March 08 from a local reseller. But could not find anything else online... well until I saw the Swissmade post.
Just hype to ramp up the price? |

discontinued.
we tried to buy submariners lately here in Zurich from 2 different reliable sources- they both said the same : Discontinued. Also Seadweller. Regular models we can get here with 15% discount, not all these : Submariner, GMT, Daytona, Seadweller-

Comsidering one of the other watches on the page was a "16610 Sea-Dweller", I would not look to them for any information.

i would hate to see a end to this watch , but with owing one it might ease the pain a bit .... as for the seller , I don't know much about them .... it worries me that picture 1 shows the COSC model , picture 2 shows the NON COSC one .....

Well perhaps it may be discontinued without the font superlative chronometer on the dial. But in essence they are exactly the same watch except for the now pure hype marketing chronometer fonts.
