Pics of black leather strap on my SS DJ-thoughts?

I added a Hirsch black leather gator print strap to my SS DJ. I chose not to go "all in" on an authentic reptile skin until I saw this one on my wrist. I think I like it!
Thoughts?

Nice! I think I'd prefer brown with a light colored dial, but that's just me. Looks great though.

I think it looks nice, especially for a cheap strap. However, if you get serious, I'd suggest a thicker strap - the DJ's lug holes are set a bit too far out for optimal looks on a strap. Many bracelet first watches have that issue.

Looks really good! What's your original bracelet? Oyster or jubilee? Beautiful dial.

I have the same strap and the watch case on my DJ scratches the leather. Did you have the same problem?

Hmmm. Just installed the strap on 8/6/16, I haven't noticed any issues...yet.

Best,

Scott

I had this problem on one side as well with the strap at certain angles. Made me hesitate on buying a real exotic strap for the moment until I can figure out how to prevent it.
