Am I crazy!

I'm trading in my 2 year old diver and 1 year old dssd for a just short of 3 year old 44 SS panda. Am I nuts? I don't get to wear a nice watch often, so dssd just sat in the safe. My OCD kept telling me that the carbon bezel was what I needed to keep the hire line scratches away. is a 3 year old watch to old to make such a trade for. It looks flawless. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I like the trade but not for a 3 yr old watch get one that's still has warranty as service on APs could be 1K +. Keep looking don't settle.

Thanks guys, still has enough warranty left that I plan to send it in for b1 water test, that way if anything is out of place now, it will be covered under warranty.

I would def trade those for a 44, just make sure the numbers work out well. Ideally I'd save more and buy an unworn or almost new watch.

Any pics of what you're trading and trading for? At the end of the day, if it's what you want, then go for it.

He's making out even IF he had to spend 1k on a service. Ball park, the Diver is worth 11k and DSSD 8k... that's 19k for the 44mm.

Make the deal, as long as u mean the 44mm CERAMIC bezel ROO.

You are Definitely not Crazy! I would do the deal and send it in for the water test like you said. Plus now that you have gotten the itch, it won't go away until you scratch it. I also just sent my 44 mm SS AP in for water test and got it back with flying colors.

Any cashed owed on top of your two watches? If not, it sounds like a steal.

PS, the bezel is not carbon, it is ceramic.

So I did it, for close to 3 yrs old, I can't find a mark on it. As much as I thought the diver was the perfect sports watch aside from a Rolex, this just is in another league all together.
