Hi Guys,

I'm looking to pickup a ROO from a fellow member on the forum here. The watch is in the below link and the member seems as legit as they come. I have never purchased something off the forum so i wanted to know a couple general Q's..

1) has anyone done business with him?
2) when purchasing from the forum, does the AD paperwork come with my name?
3) what do i say if ever asked from AP where i purchased it from?
4) what are the disadvantages of buying from a forum member?

1) Yes, Thanh is top notch and super thorough
2) ask Thanh but it looks like this may have a name on it already which is no big deal
3) AP doesn't care who or wear it was purchased it is under warranty and the warranty is valid to who ever owns the piece
4) in theory you should get a cheaper price, only disadvantage would be not seeing it in person or in this case your name on the papers which to me and most members is not a big deal. I have my name on some papers of watches and the papers collect dust in my safety deposit box.

1. Yes many times
2. AP warranty books do not list buyers name only AD name stamped and dated.
3. You say the same thing anyone would say the name of AD stamped in booklet.
4. You pay less money advantage no disadvantage on a brand new watch as you have in your link.

This is a brand new watch. You buy from great guy. You get good price better than AD. Watch is brand new and under warranty. You get it and go to AP website and register it for first time in your name. There you go so good luck!

Mr Do is a good and trustworthy seller. Although I have not purchased from him, but was thinking of purchasing a Nautilus but got bitten by ap bug, but his communication was good and he was very patient. Recommended. But make sure any watch from any dealer has service history or still under warranty

Seller is top notch. Period. I have done numerous deals with him.

Never bought an AP but you're getting great advice here from those who have.

I will add it's a brand new watch and you save money. Who doesn't like that

Thanh is a stand-up guy, you can trust him 100%. Bought my last AP from him and will buy from him again next time.

Congrats on a great watch from a great seller.

The only AP dealer around is Traditional Jewelers. Since the remodel their AP selection is limited and they give crap offers on trade. There is a westime in la jolla as well as a few in LA including a boutique but prices have been much better from trusted sellers here.

Congrats again and post pics when it arrives
