Datejust Dial Replacement
Hi I have done a search and haven't found a concrete answer so hoping one of the knowledgeable members can chime in. My 1980 16014 w 3035 movement will go for service soon and I was thinking of a possible dial replacement. Am I able to get a more modern dial (I want silver sticks) from the six or even five digit series, or will it have to be a replacement dial in the same style. I have seen conflicting information, ie dial must match movement, some say doesn't matter. I will go through RSC for this. If anyone can shed some light, much appreciated.
Thanks! |

I think there was just a thread on this a day or two ago about an explorer dial change and I believe that the conclusion was that it was unable to be done (or very difficult to get done) in the US. Im sure one of the experts will chime in soon and give you a good answer.
