5146 strap size? Help and advice please..
Hello,
I am looking to purchase my first new PP. I've been a Rolex man for several years but have now decided to up the stakes as it were. My budget is not large but mid £30k's is my limit. I very much like the 5146 models but due to location as working abroad I haven't been able to view in detail, only from pictures on websites and forums. (If anyone has 5146J 010 or 5146P pictures!) My main worry is that my wrist is 8 1/4". Always having adjustments and new links with Rolex. Can I ask any members how this is with PP? What is the maximum standard fitted size leather or precious metal PP fit on their timepieces. Do they adjust to that size or will they change to suit. I just like the plain tang fold over clasp which I beleive is with the 5146. Any advice will be much appreciated. Kind Regards Simon Last edited by Simonja; 26 August 2016 at 10:57 AM.. Here is a standard length strap on my 6.75" wrist. The 5146 come with a PP deployant buckle. There is also a longer strap available from PP which I think you will need for your 8.25" wrist.

5146R on my 6 5/8 wrist. It's a great piece. You will love it.

Isn't that piece a bit small for the size of the OP's wrist? My wrist is a 7.25 and when I fitted one of these, I felt it was too small for me. I think you should go for the 40.5-41mm nauts. Just my 2 cents. :)
