RolexTracker.com. - what are your thoughts
Guys. I was thinking of using this site to register my rolexes. I could not find any bad reviews but figured you experts would be able to give me the real scoop. Is it worth it? Thanks.

Seems like a good way of getting money out of Rolex owners by giving them a false sense of security.
Search function turns up many old threads on this. |

Seems like something that should be free. Not just saying that cause I won't pay for this, but because it's a good idea that has potential under the "freemium" business model. Of course the hope would be that your service would go viral which in turn would open up endless possibilities of revenue. This being a Rolex specific service would likely fail to reach the masses but they could potentially expand to all serialized luxury items.
Anyway just an idea, cause I'm not paying for that. |

x2... Saw this site a few months ago, I do not think the site is readily used or popular among owners for it to fulfill its intended purpose.

Don't see the point of it or any actual value to you.

Goveberg has that "watchbox" that you can store photos an information about your watch collection.
The thought occured to me that they could use this for their own personal sourcing, to try and buy watches or at least send frequent wanted to buy advertisements to the owners. |
