If you were offered the 5070P or the (1 of 5) Salmon Dial that our friend Khalid owns... Which would you take? 5070 would be in my top 3 BUT this is my favorite watch ever made (Unfortunately will never have the chance to own one but nice to drool over haha) pic by watchesbysjx

That 5970 is top

The white gold salmon dial or the platinum blue dial
Most will take the salmon but imo because they made only 5

If they would have made 100 platinum blue dial and 100 white gold salmon dial.......I think most would prefer the blue

I woul absolutely love to have Khalid his salmon dial and next time we meet he will bring the watch so I can see and inspect it
But I honestly believe part of the beauty is due to its extreme rarity

That 5070P could put an end to my watch quests. I might even "settle" for the R silver dial....Beautiful.

Personally I prefer the 5970 in any of its variants or a 5370

Bruno, yes you are biased, but with good reason The 5070p is an amazing watch. If I could have any though it would be one of the 5 limited edition 5070P-013 like Kari has.

I know Kari doesn't post much here and is more on watchprosite. Do you happen to have a pic of this one? If you google most of the reference numbers of the limited edition Saatchi gallery pieces you cannot find photos.

Well if you love chronos it's surely one of the top 3, they look nice but not my cup of tea... The 5970P is sick though, and yes it's clearly the fact they only did 5 that gives it the value, the usual P is better looking...

Great modern watch but best ever made by Patek? Not even close.

They definitely have some amazing pieces throughout their history. One could argue Best Chrono ever made by PP(Not including Rattrapantes). It is crazy that Patek manufactured the Ref 1463 until the 60s and did not release another chronograph model until 1998. I think the fact that there was a 30+ year gap between another chrono being produced adds to the significance of this reference. Just my 2¢

Clearly a great watch.. the greatest? Beauty in the eye of the beholder I think the ALS datograph is a step above in this particular category. Do not get me wrong.. I am a huge patek fan and own 4
