Congrats Eddie, it looks very classy, with that classic dial and 18K
![]() I think you will find the watch even more enjoyable when you get some of the amazing straps that can be found.

JFP in Sydney sell Panerai but JFP in Adelaide don't.
They are not associated.

With the:
display back; manual wind; and sandwich dial- is this an 'historical' range model?

How can Panerai call this part of its "Historic Collection" when it is gold?
Do Radiomir's use tubes between the wire lugs and the strap? |

Don't know. I suppose it's a bit like a Rolex 'Anniversary' watch. My Milgauss commemorates a historic Rolex model. Do Radiomir's use tubes between the wire lugs and the strap? The wire lugs screw into a short connecting bar that the strap fits on. I haven't taken it apart 'yet' but that's how the instructions show it.

I got a great strap in the mail yesterday.
I had the OEM Brown Croc on my PAM177 and I have to say it made a world of improvement in the hugest sense of presentation and wearability to change it to any number of aftermarket straps. That's what the whole Panerai thing is about, the straps can make all the difference. ![]() ![]() Panerai newbies ![]() ![]() ![]()

The Pam 231 strap is a 27/20 and I haven't researched strap availability in this original size.
If I can find another style/design strap that looks better than the original strap and it fits the 27mm lugs then it would need to have a 20mm buckle size or an 18K matching rosegold buckle. Panerai Experts. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
