For Sale: Rolex Gmt 16750

Sadly I have made the decision to sell the GMT 16750 that I bought from Stratton (Steve) earlier this month. It is a gloss dialed, plexi-glassed beauty.

This is the thread where I introduced it to you guys;
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=39305

and this is the thread where I started thinking about selling;
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=41191

Anyway, the watch is in excellent condition, as per the photos in the threads, and having been serviced in ~March has approximately 9 months warranty remaining. I will have to check the service document for exact dates.

The watch does not come with papers or official box, but it is priced accordingly, to sell, at £2,500. I think this is a fair price, as confirmed by various knowledgeable people around here, and from details of other sales I have seen.

Thank you.

I will try to get that done tomorrow. Don't have a decent camera at home so will have to borrow one from work.

B U M P !!!
Thani, I honestly can't get Macro shots for the life of me, even with work's camera, I have been trying for days now!
Best I can do is an honest naked-eye description.

The hands appear to be in very good shape, with only very slight signs of age, showing on the hour hand. This takes the form of what I can only imagine to be a degradation of the metal? Its as good as unnoticable unless you have the watch about 2 inches from your eye though, and certainly is in-keeping with the watch's age.

Thank you.

BY the way gang, if you need to justify this purchase, all proceeds will be going to pay for Uni fees for my girlfriend who will be studying Theraputic Radiography - the administration of radiation to cancer patients to break down tumours - thats my definition of it anyway...

So you will basically be donating to charity, to help people with cancer, in a round-about sort of way. Your reward for your generosity will be a beautiful GMT 16750. Yummy.

2.5K seems a pretty fair price - esp. for a GMT with the desirable 'OYSTER PERPETUAL' marked dial instead of the usual 'OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE'
If only I had the funds.........
Good luck with the sale Cliff.

Going to bring this back to the market @£2,250. Prefer a UK sale due to massive issues encountered trying to arrange a sale with a German chap (not his fault - insurance/bank transfers etc). Its a lovely watch guys.
