Did Rolex ever call the LV model a "Limited Edition?"

The LV was never stated to be a 'Limited Edition' by Rolex as far as I know. But nothing lasts forever!
But has there ever been a 'Limited Edition' watch made by Rolex?

this question has no answer, only speculation. nobody here could answer this accurately for you. my guess is that it will not be discontinued.

The LV has always been a regular production reference. It has been made in smaller numbers than the standard version in the past.

I feel that the whole submariner line will be discontnued in favor of ceramic bezel models

Probably will continue until the 16610 becomes the 116610.

Exactly! Once the Stainless Submariner is put out in the new version I am sure the LV will end. Whether it is before that, who knows, I doubt it.

I think it will cease production in 2010 when the SS Sub will be introduced.
