have you thought about an Explorer?
Already you have a Submariner. An Explorer 114270 is very comfortable. |

If it's going to be a daily wearer, definitely get the 14060. The sapphire crystal is tough

14060 is a great daily....I'm still looking for the right one for myself. The 5513 belongs in the collection as well but it's more a weekend watch IMO here and there.....that's what I'd do with the vintage as soon as I find the right one there also. =) Both have their place in a collection for sure.

14060 for daily watch.
5513 is good for investment if I have other watches for daily. |

I don't see the issue w a vintage for "daily". I wear mine in rotation every day. These things are built to take more than the weekend warrior can dish out. And the plexi is much more resilient than sapphire imo...just polywatch it to perfection. If the issue is "can I swim with it" well I think it's crazy to take a $10k watch in the water either way. What's the purpose unless it's truly a diver watch. I've got a $100 Seiko skx007 for that.
