WOW! My first time reading the story and other peoples comments. Very fun scrolling down hoping that there would be more pictures and I would see the watch restored to her old glory. Good for you! Enjoy her, just not as hard as the previous owner!

Fantastic story there Jason, you have mentioned in another post about acquiring vintages pieces through mom and pop type jeweller shops.
I wonder if it is worth pursuing but doubt there are many to be found here in Sydney.

Found this thread while doing some research and read it all the way through! I know it's been over 2 years but still a great story (both the original owners story and how you acquired it) and absolutely beautiful watch!

...and I should mention I didn't get any helpful information for what I was researching but certainly not any wasted time, :)
