Patek 5004T strap
Hi guys! Need your expertise and help here
Would love this strap for a 5960, just wondering if it is possible to get it from the AD or you can pass me a reference number by any chance. Many thanks! Some pics from google |

I think here is the link to the OP of the pics. Maybe you can contact him:

I would contact Kari as mentioned. His screenname is kol if you need to private message him. His strap is awesome. I am not nitpicking the pic above but I am not sure if that is his actual strap. The pic looks great but if you notice the link posted above the ends of the strap are curved towards the case as opposed to straight. Looks at least in pics like you get a better fit and don't see the spring bar

Since Patek has not officially approved the watch (5960/1A) to be worn on a strap, I don't think ADs can officially help you. However if you have a good relationship with your AD, they may be able to connect you with other watch owners who have switched out the bracelet for an after-market strap.

I believe Kari had his strap custom made by Camille Fournet in Paris, so no need to go to an AD if you want the same strap. I think the photo posted was a first attempt that didn't quite work, he has a perfect fitting one now.

I can't seem to crack the code with CF ordering. Went through JLC once and it was a disaster for a pricey strap. When I reach out to them direct, it's like I'm speaking a foreign language. That form is too complicated. I'm not confident they'd build a strap that fit. |

Here are some links to a watch blog reviewing Camille Fournet, although it is in French.
http://www.lesrhabilleurs.com/camill...i-un-bracelet/ http://www.lesrhabilleurs.com/camill...-bracelet-1-2/ http://www.lesrhabilleurs.com/camill...-bracelet-2-2/ http://www.lesrhabilleurs.com/video-...mille-fournet/ When I visited their store in Paris, I was told although it is fairly easy to order stock straps from them online. However for custom straps, it is best to visit them in person with the watch. They mentioned they have a location in the US, but I think it is more of a distribution center and not a retail location. |
