Different Hand Styles
I have noticed on the Platinum Masterpiece a few different hand types...one is a bit thiner....one is a thicker style , and i even saw one with a white stripe down.... is the hand type on the president and masterpiece models due to year styles or maybe production house differences....I have seen this with some of the dials with difference of lettering. Any ideas?

The dial determines what hands the watch gets. i.e. No lume on the dial, no lume on the hands in most cases. There are quite a few DD dial choices as well, you can check them out at www.oysterworld.de
