Pulled the trigger on a 16600 sea dweller today, hadn't considered buying a pre-owned watch before but this one just came back from a Rolex service and had original box and papers. Super psyched that I could get a piece of Rolex history. I've had a few Rolex six digit sport watches but never a five digit with lug holes. Pretty sure the sea dweller won't be too similar to my 116710LN.

Just for for fun I asked if they had a new Daytona C and they said yes in black. I think its unspoken for if any one in the NE is willing to take a ride to Portland ME. They would likely ship to their store in NH to avoid sales tax.

Presuming can always be a challenge. If someone calls these guys will be interesting to know what is the case.

Thanks Bill, thought about grabbing it as they were boxing up my sea dweller. I'm a huge F1 fan as well. Hopefully someone within our community can get it. Thank you for you for your participation here, always appreciate your inciteful opinion on TRF.

They also had a deep blue in the case, don't know if that is still difficult to get.

...I had not heard back from them this morning (they were closed yesterday) so I just called them to check. Someone else sold the watch to a caller who phoned in the minute that they opened. Oh well, back to the waiting game. My own fault for not calling back in immediately.

OP if you bought an estate SD4K, I owned it for a week and traded it in on a D-Blue around Christmas 2015.

When the black Daytona C arrived they called me, I tried it on and decided to wait for the white. So it was sent to Portsmouth.
