Surf's Up!

http://nlandsurfpark.com/

Hey Guys:

Just got the word that the new surf park near Austin Texas is opening to the public on Friday.

Long time coming, and it is just the 3rd park of this design to be completed.

Can't wait to check it out, and they promised me I won't get sucked out in the rip!

Just what Austin needs...more people (good news is in Del Valle--not in Austin).

For those coming and leaving same day you are welcome.

When I visited Austin in the 90's it was a really great place. Last year it felt like an overcrowded theme park (if that analogy makes sense). It reminded me of the Californification of Colorado. Once you're on the radar, you never come off.

This site has a new video of the different waves at the Austin Surf Park.

The lagoon is the size of 9 football fields (14 acres)....
