Rolex 6352 help

I was offered a Rolex 6352 Precision cal. 775 with honeycomb 369 dial. The inside of the back case has the ref 6350 crossed out and on the side the ref 6352 stamped. Manufactured date is 1st quarter 1954 and serial number 29xxx. Some of the pictures on the net has Super Precision, Shock Resisting or Officially Certified Chronometer printed. Does it mean that one is more desirable than the others in terms of value? Is the Precision considered the base model? What is a fair price for this watch? Any comment would be highly appreciated.

Correct band is the "big crown" variant, I believe. Nice watch!

this is hardly your first rodeo with vintage rolexes so what's the big mystery? it's a 50's textured dialed precision that looks to be in nice condition. with precisions they made millions of them so no one really cares much about reference #'s and it's all about the dial...but you know that too.

The big mystery is the value and I am lost when it comes to non sport models of Rolex. The owner wants $5k for it.

The watch if you like it should be worth that price. Is it an easy sale at that price...maybe not. Are you in a position to make money at that price..? maybe not.

If you like it and want to wear it, it's worth that. imho

20 mm right?

a296

It's really a 6350 with a different dial.

Thanks for the advice. I just don't want to pay more than what is the current market value of the watch. Yes the lug size is 20mm.
