Gents, please take a look at the link below and tell me what you think.

https://www.chrono24.co.uk/patekphil...-id4402436.htm

I have never bought from the seller, and the thread that I find discussing one of their watches, does give me some doubt.

One of my favorites, cannot get prettier than than the 12-600at movement.
Cannot tell from photos if dial is refinished or not.
Letters should be raised if not redone.
Decent price, if dial is ok. I would think cheap even for England.

It is a beautiful watch but I agree that the dial needs some examination. Not all models have Swiss at the bottom but most do. Check other examples of this model online to see if they have it.

There is a current thread on going with a link to the Hodinkee website about the Deli Larma's Patek pocket watch.

Having read that, I saw a link to an in-depth report on a Patek Philippe 2526.

http://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the...y-attention-to

What a fantastic watch

Does any member own one?

Hi guys! My first post after lurking on here for a while... Here's my Patek ref 3411 that I acquired a few years ago. One of my first watches that kickstarted my obsession. Still my favorite.

No, because vintage Rolex and Omegas have some "modern" sizes, most vintage PP's are just too small for modern tastes, 33-35mm, and I can't imagine one second the fashion going back to small sizes

Can you tell more about the pocket watch. What makes it a patek? I love the hands. They are stunning.

Patek made pocket watches for many jewelery stores, Bailey, Banks & Biddle, CE Caldwell, CD Peacock and many others.
Patek made personalized dials for the jewelers.
Often times the movements and case are marked with the jewelers name as well.
Most of the time, but not always, the movement is marked Patek, as well as the case.
When they are not marked Patek, they can still be identified by the plate design. Pocket watches were made to have easy access to the movement compared to wristwatches.

Incidentally, did you take the photo looking into a mirror?

As the wording is back to front on the dials.

It looks cool
