Clearly geared towards the wife's palate...saved the big prawns for an Asian dish tomorrow.
Cedar plank Steelhead with pan seared prawns over mixed greens with homemade Caesar dressing.
Healthy and very tasty, but I will be hungry in an hour. Lol

Thanks Walter! I love to cook but honestly don't write out recipes. Just make a plan. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I do these stir fry dishes frequently so through trial and error figure out the spice combo we prefer. Wife is out so this is spicier than usual.
The thing with stir fry is to do each part separate and combine at the end so the veggies are crisp. I sauté the veggies first in sesame oil, good soy sauce and chili paste with a little five spice. Take off heat and set aside. Do the egg separate in an egg pan. Then sauté the meat and rice in a wok with the same seasoning as the veggies. Combine just for a minute to let the flavors meld and bring up to temp and serve.
With noodles, same process. Add noodles to the pan last and then combine everything.
Hope that is helpful.

We started with a crab asparagus soup, then finished with the tri tip with a chimichurri and a cauliflower rice baby bella mushroom sauté.
