AP 15400 on 6.5" Wrist
I've been on the fence with the 15400 for a little while now since I can't seem to find a 15300 that I like. I have a 6.5" wrist so I sometimes feel like it may be too big. Can anyone with a similar sized wrist post some pics? Thanks!

No pics but I have a 6 3/4" wrist and thought the 15400 was way too big on my wrist.

AP 15400 on 6.5" Wrist
I have a 7.5" wrist and the 15400 was too large for me in my opinion. With the way the bracelet is integrated into the case, the bracelet just won't adjust to a smaller wrist up at the lugs. Makes it look silly on me.

I have a 6.75" and was too big for me IMO. What about a 15202? For AP I have concluded if wrist is under 7" the pieces that fit the best are typically 39mm or less due to the lugs on the ROs

I'm going to go with no it will be too big. Really though it's all about what you like to see when you look down at your wrist. I have a 7.5" wrist and I felt that the 15400 just seemed to big for me.

6.75" here, and my thoughts were "no way." It's not just the advertised diameter - bigger watches look ok on my wrist, it's just that the 15400 doesn't fit me. The larger Diver has a different feel and aesthetic, so it might be bigger, but fit better.

I tried it on at the AD and it seems fine, but sometimes it's hard to tell with the short ride.

15400 is a big watch. Personally on my 6.5" wrist was too big.

![]() OP... try it on, if you like it, go for it! Personally, I thought mine wore pretty small for a 41mm. |

This is exactly what I found to be true in my case. Ended up going with the Diver. (my wrist is 6.5")

I prefer a traditional look so I think it is too big. I would recommend the mid size 37mm 15450st. I have 7# wrists and 37mm looked perfect.

I have a 6.75" wrist and the 15400 looked too big on me, mostly because the lugs were raised way off my wrist. However, my friend with a smaller wrist than me tried it on and it looked great on him. We determined that his wrist, although smaller, was much flatter than mine and thus the watch simply fit him better. The only answer here is to try it on. Do YOU like the way it looks on YOU?

This is totally true. My AP ROO 42mm fits me better than when I put on the RO 15400 on my wrist.

Try the 37. I'm in the same boat and the 37 fits great. See attached

I agree here too. Tried on a safari after the 15400 and the safari fit much better

At 6.5 you could pull it off...but for me the 15202 would be the pick every time.

I know this is a late reply
And likely you have your watch already but in case not or for future reference I opted for the 15450. I have a 6.75" wrist and the 15400 was WAY too big. The watch wears big and I did not like how it looked on my wrist. The 15202 was too pricey, and the 15300 fit good but I just did not want a used AP especially since nice examples of the 15300 were selling very close to the price of a new one.

I don't think your wrist is necessarily small. I am of the thinking that the proportions of the 15400 are off, so it doesn't look so good regardless of wrist size. The Day Date II is another watch that comes to mind with similar personal sentiment.

6.75" here. 15400 didn't look good on me.
15300 is perfect. Jumbo would be perfect too. IMO a ROO works since they are designed to be big and bold. RO is elegantly sporty. GL on the search. |
