15407 request

Hi guys,

I am seriously contemplating a 15407ST, would love to hear opinions of owners and to see pics.
Any enabling will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

It's a beautiful watch. I talked to my AD last week about one and he said "it's a next year watch" meaning probably 3-4 month wait.

I think there are 1 or 2 owners here and hope someone posts personal shots.

It's a stunner IMHO and actually prefer SS as well.

I'll get this thread started

And don't sell the CE diver. It's the coolest watch I have.

Excellent pics!

Agree with you on the CE Diver.

It is a beauty from the front, small displayback is a bit jarring tho.

Good news is on this watch, no need to look at the back

I saw a RG 15407 wow what an amazing piece. These pieces are not readily available but definitely a unique piece.

Well the AP boutique director doesn't know when they will get one, but he said they have it in RG, so when I am in Paris will try it out, and if the fit is good, at 6.9 and being able to wear 42-44mm ROO's I think it should be ok, they will reserve one for me, maybe I am not the first on the list, but am not in a hurry.

It is stunning indeed, and no I won't sell the diver, my small collection wouldn't be the same without it... thanks for the pics, don't hesitate to post more, we won't be upset

Wanted to ask you if you had any Nautilus or other RO, and which do you prefer between them and the 15407, basically getting it will stretch my watch budget, so at one point when I will need the cash I will have to sell something, but there are good chances that the 15407 will stay and that I will sell something else, anyways I have some time before that happens to figure it out, I always loved AP RO skeletons in RG, the 15305 is a little too much grey IMO in SS, when I saw it a few years back it didn't sing to me, the 15407 seems more interesting.

What wrist size do you have?

Well I agree with you my friend that the small display back is a little strange, don't really understand why they did it like that, but basically with such a watch you don't need to look at the back, 90% of the beauty is visible from the front

I usually don't look at watches with loupes, except very expensive ones where everything is supposed to be finished perfectly, but will certainly look at this one through a loupe, seen some macro shots which are amazing, these for example are stunning, if you see this everytime you look at the dial it must be something and might probably take an important place, maybe not enough to take the place of my 5712, but who knows, if it is anything close to the second pic it might become my favorite SS watch...

Well the rotor is a piece of work, so the back has appeal, though agree, most goodies are on the front

Would have loved to see more pics from owners or not.

Anyways here's 3 which are amazing, of course I get that it is either computer made or heavily photoshopped, but looks awesome, can't wait to see the real thing...

These photos are heavily edited to showcase the components. The first macro photo is mine and that's what it looks like in real life. I have quite a few macros i can share later today.

Well a few years ago I thought I would never get a watch worth more than 10K, I thought you needed to be nuts to put so much money in watches, wow how that changed in a drastic way, my banker is hallucinating with all the wire transfers for watches of the last months, sure not huge sums, though the payment of 70% for the Voutilainen wasn't so small, but hey if you can afford it and it makes you happy why not
