116234 on a strap

I was wondering what how this would look on a strap. Don't think this one suits it. Might need an alligator strap or something dressier instead.
Before you get mad, don't worry- I still believe the jubilee looks better.

I have a 116234 (silver stick dial) and play around with straps. Couple of nato examples below:

They look great! I wasn't sure if that would look too casual but it really works.

Yeah, it's not a popular combo (especially on nato) but I definitely think it looks good on straps.

Wow, DJ looks surprisingly good with leather straps! I'm going to have to consider this when I want to change it up.

Totally right. This watch was not on my radar at all until I saw a vintage one on a strap. The newer case doesn't fit it as well but that newer Silver dial and stick markers is so awesome.

I've got to agree with Brandon here. Yes it's 'different' but just doesn't look as good as the Jubilee.

Classic dj = jubilee. But I think the strap really makes it look more casual and modern. A change is as good as a holiday right?

Interesting thread and timely. I'm considering a Datejust at the moment. I want to be able to swap the the Super jubilee out with my BLNR and put the DJ on a nice leather strap.
