116613LB or AP 15400

I'm traveling to hong kong soon and was thinking of adding a 116613lb to my collection when I went, but lately, I've been really liking the 15400 with either black or blue dial. So I was just wondering what people's thoughts about these two watches were. I also have a skinny wrist at 6.5', so I thought maybe the 15400 may be a little too big.

The lug to lug length on the 15400 is probably too big for your wrist. The ROO at 42mm is too big for my 6.25" wrist. Maybe look for a 15300 39mm?

Well put or even a 25860. They are very nice and would fit you perfectly. The 15400 will be too big in my opinion.

I actually own both 116613lb and 15400. Even though the lug to lug-measurements are larger on the AP than the LB I wouldn't say that i wears larger. But they do wear a little different, the AP is flatter but has a little more "surface area". My wrists is roughly around 6,5" and the 15400 is wearable.

The Subc gets my vote. Enjoy the trip.

My wrist size is the same size as yours and both fit perfectly.

I like both watches equally.

Blue dial would be near impossible to get. The Sub would certainly be far more versatile and comfortable. If I was looking for a sport watch the Sub would be the better choice. You may be better off with a 15300 if you are still sold on AP given your wrist size.

Very tough as these are two of the best blue dials in the business. I say get the 15400 blue and then the full gold Subc, as I may very well do too. The 15300 blue is less vibrant so I'd go subc over that.

Good and tough choice. I'd get the AP first and would consider the 39mm Jumbo for its size, history and relative scarcity. If you want a three handed watch, whichever of the 15400 or 15300 fits your wrist and eye better. You can add the Sub easily at any later time.

IMO get the 116613 (love anything with gold) over the 15400. However the 15202 would be an entirely different pick.

The bluesy is one of the best all around watches, IMO.

I have both and also happen to have a 6.5 wrist so hope this pic helps. The 15400 is more subtle but overall a nicer watch, finishing, etc. as you might expect from AP. The 116613LB is more solid, can throw it on and not worry, and is flashier. For me, I use the 15400 as a more special piece or when I'm in a suit, and the 116613LB when I need to throw on a watch.
