Rolex Oysterquatz
I have several questions regarding the Rolex Oysterquartz ((17000 series); hopefully, someone can help me or point me to help: -Is the location of the S# on all OQ in the same place ?? I've seen some with it on the back of the casing, and some with it between the band lugs. -Are all OQ dials enscribed the same at the 6 o'clock position (ie, "T SWISS T") ?? -I found one OQ with the s# starting with a "S" followed by 6 mumbers. Does this mean it was manufactured in ca. 1993 ?? I know that the last reference to OQ in the Rolex catalogue was in 1993, but was lead to believe that they had stopped production in 1991. Thanks for your time, |

#1-Yes the serial is always in the same place. #2-No not all of them, some are luminova and have Swiss Made instead. #3-The final production was K serial# in 01, not in 93. |
