It's like when Fat people wear skinny jeans, it just don't look right. Just cause something is in style or you like the way it looks does mean it'll look good on you. If I were you I'd go with a 214270 cause I think that would look sharp on your wrist. Either way go with what you like and enjoy.

Looking great for others and wearing comfortable for yourself are two very different things.
I got almost 7" wrist. 6 digit Polar only lasted 6 months- It wasn't comfortable especially worse in Summer season. I'm looking to add 5 digit Exp II. |

It looks OK. But 16570 will probably look perfect..

Thanks for your feedback. I like the 214270 as well but I think the case is too similar to the Milgauss I currently own. I want a but more of a different vibe this time around I think for variety's same.

First and last pics are the best pic to determine the natural setting look. Looks fine. It's not supposed to be small. If it's comfortable you should buy it. I wouldn't go any bigger though..

Not too big on your wrist, but it's definitely a big watch

It's really up to you, however you asked for our input.
I have a similar size wrist, and tried both the 42mm Exp II and 40mm Exp II. I ended up buying the 40mm as it fit my wrist much better, is lighter, and way more comfortable. I believe the trend of BIG watches is dying down. Either way, it's whatever feels right to YOU. |

Looks great, just wear any watch you want to wear and stop worrying about what other people think.

I got it! Go with a 16570 that'll look perfect on your wrist and it has the look you're going for.

Large is a style. If you like the style, great. If you are uncomfortable or not sure, pass.

Too many people say the watch is too big because it of the close-up shot.
We need pics of the watch on the wrist while your arm is dropped beside you. Only then will you get prospective. I do thing it looks fine from what you posted. |

Most people who says here its toooo big for you are the ones who don't have this watch. I hope you get what I mean.

I think it looks great. But you want it to be comfortable. It should fit somewhat snug; not floppy on the wrist. Good luck in whatever you choose.

Had Rolex made the 216570 40mm, it would be my favorite sports model in the current catalogue, and there's a good chance I would have chosen it over the 16570. In a forum full of enablers, I think a little dissent is a good thing. |

That's one of the main things giving me pause. I really love the styling of the 216570 though...hence the dilemma.

I think the size looks fine so that should not be what's putting you off buying it if you like it. Personally I love the ExpII but I lean towards the white dial. I would love to have both. Maybe some day!!

We'd have to see a body shot to tell if it's too big on you. It's ultimately a matter of preference and I think the new Sub/GMT is as big as I'd want to go.

1) That watch is not too big for you. You can easily wear that watch without any concern.
2) Nothing wrong with having a preference for smaller watches. If it seems too big for you, then it's too big. |
