It's a shopworn favorite, and a TV special--not a movie, but I still like the Charlie Brown Christmas episode, first run in 1965. Remember watching it as a kid.

I love Christmas movies. Have a bunch DVR'd from last year. I'm watching Frosty's Winter Wonderland with my kids now. My all-time favorite is the old Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Home Alone, Lampoon, Elf, and the Grinch are great, too.

I would add a movie called "The Gathering". Haven't seen it for awhile though.

For Christmas gatherings, Diehard and Scrooged and classics. We are changing it up this year, though. We're watching Revenge of the Nerds.

Trivia question: without cheating, what watch is Bill Murrey wearing in Scrooged? There is a scene with a great close up.

This movie was filmed in Chagrin Falls Ohio, about 5 minutes from the house where I grew up. I was either still in high school, or just started college when it came out. I could have been an extra in the movie, but didn't do it. I could have been famous!!

I like it. It's an Apple Christmas advert, but the internet is abuzz about it, so I am posting it. One of the better ones I have seen in long time:
