16600 Bezel referbishment
Up front, must admit I'm pretty perfectionistic... my concerns wouldn't likely bother many folks...
I have a 16600 sea dweller with a couple minor nicks/scratches in the bezel insert. The nicks are deep enough to slightly feel and break through the black finish, but are about the size of a pin prick. The scratches don't break the finish, however are noticeable when adjusted in the light. So, the question is, can these minor imperfections be addressed? Is it cheaper to just buy a new insert? Anyone out there that refurbishes bezels? Thanks!

You don't want to see my divers then :-)
If you are talking about the old Sea-Dweller with the alu insert, much better just to buy another insert, it is around $100. |

Bezel inserts are aluminum and anodized. Pretty unlikely that anybody can economically refinish one compared to the price of a replacement.

I think you should send this watch to me. I can accept such imperfection as I lost my Sea Dweller in a boat accident years ago and could never replace it. ..lol I had changed out my bezel for the same reason when I had my SD. any good watch tech can insert the bezel
