That was clearly a 'Roo having a bad day as normally a 'Roo that size would have ripped his stomach open with both feet.
I wouldn't go anywhere near a big 'Roo in 'confrontation mode'.

Initially I was really upset by this.

However, I believe there is much more to this video that we haven't seen here.

Someone on FB posted the same video but also several pictures where the Kangaroo is attacking what seems to be his dog. The dog isn't a small one.. looks like some sort of Great Dane, but the Kangaroo has his arms around him and looks like he is really destroying the dog.

I have attached two pictures that show this.
That's all I know for now

Allow me to say that I do not condone his behavior in any way. After dog was released, he should have walked away.

Yes, an interesting background story.

I'm not sure how this will end up for Greg....

I just read Roo as meaning a Royal Oak Offshore in the title and was a bit puzzled first when it was about a marsupial...

Watch it from OzzyMANreviews. It is hilarious with the dub over: (warning language in video.)

very uneducated response... Ive seen what a roo can do and they are extremely dangerous when in an aggressive state.... if he'd walked away the roo would have more then likely come at him.
The power in their legs is more then you can imagine! And like most wild animals it will not back down until the "alpha" proves itself out of them.

Believe me that punch did nothing to that roo other then demonstrate he was prepared to stand his ground(the guy)

they are a solid animal! I worked in central australia and ive seen and had them bounce off cars and trucks on the highway get back up shake it off and hop away
what he did was the safest thing he could have done.... think about it the guys were out pig hunting so they had guns.... they could have shot it but instead he chose to take it on .... braver then me lol
