Which loupe to purchase?

I only have two timepieces so I do not plan to invest a lot of money into a loupe, but still curious which one I should buy. Should I just go to amazon and buy whatever that has a good enough rating?

If you want a good one go for a Bergeon or a Horotech. Cheap ones are often crap.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

I have many loupes, but if there is one I'd pick for just looking at my watches I would take the NOMOS 3,5× loupe.

I have one like this one.

https://smile.amazon.com/Loupe-Illum...ds=loupes+21mm

https://smile.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb...%3Aloupes+21mm

I use it mostly for looking at the detail in coins.

I don't look that closely at my watches, except for an Orient I bought recently that had a speck of dust on the inside of the crystal.

It was essential for identifying the problem, which I had eliminated by a local watchmaker free of charge.

Other than something like that, it's probably best not to look too closely at watches.

I have a Waltex twin lens fold out loupe with x4 and x6 lenses.
Used together it will give me x10 but the x4 is the one I find best for my watches.
