It's the slightly cheaper RG/Ti option. I didn't think the all RG was much different and rather save the $30K EXTRA!! Frankly the similarities are so much the same between both and rather save the additional cash and watch HEFT of this one is heavy enough for me IMO!

Enjoy it (we need to work on incoming photo taking ) glad a few hit boutiques and AD's should be next!

I pray, so us poor folks not paying boutique retail can finally enjoy it!

Yes it was. Thanks all for the compliments. RM did a great job to refresh the 11 model and the new design/features are fantastic! I'm now awaiting the NEW colored straps (yellow, white, green etc) which haven't come out yet, I'm told.

Exciting to see they've finally arrived stateside. Hopefully we'll see more incomings soon.

The new style straps are a few months out for sure. The old style straps will still fit the new RM11.

Thanks guys. Can't wait to see your all RG Paul! ;)

Velcro is my favorite by far as well!

Beautiful WatchKit! Enjoy her.

RG is nice, but been there done that.

Then again same with Ti

We'll see -- but one I certainly find more useful (for me) than the other

My girlfriend was asking me these questions last night (I think she was trying to make a point!) so I thought I'd pass them along:

1. How often do people recognize the Mille on your risk? What's the breakdown between WIS and civilians?

2. What's the general reaction from people not familiar with the brand?

3. Aesthetics alone, without the brand name and the price tag, would you still be drawn to RM (here's where I think she was subtly trying to dissuade me).

Too many questions

Insert her favorite handbag/shoe brand and ask same questions.

I don't discuss cars or watches (RM especially) with GF's--no win situation.

Fair point. And as I think I told you, buying the lotus before the engagement ring didn't help the cause!

Yeah, buying ANYTHING before (or after) the engagement ring is a serious issue

I figured I'd do it all now before the accounts commingled.

My mom has a nice trick. Whenever she gets a new bag, she'll send me to Canal street to get the fake version then make a big show of gifting it to her in front of my stepfather. After a couple weeks, she'll transition to the real deal, throw out the fake, and leave him none the wiser.
