E63/55 wagon? Very nice... I have a Weistec tuned S63. I considered upgrading the turbos and downpipes (which no doubt this 63's are), but decided against it and to be content w the tune.

Probably a good idea Mike, you may have warranty issues changing turbos and downpipe. Do you have any pics of this monster?

Geez, I remember when you had to spend months modifying a car to get into 10 seconds...now you can just go buy one. A four door no less.

Awesome car.

Yep! In high school I put a V8 in a 1973 Vega GT hatchback. My brother build a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 w/ NOS it ran 11's and mine ran in the high 13's. 10's right off the showroom floor is SICK!

I love muscle cars. Built many over the years. I owned a small car lot back in the late 80's early 90's that specialized in muscle cars and Corvette's. It took some serious work and money just to get a car into 12 second quarters. Breaking 12 was a whole different league. My last muscle build was in the mid 90's a 1964 El Camino with a Banks big block and a Art Morrison 4 link rear tub job. It would run sub 11 seconds and was street legal. Took a long time to get the tune and hook up correct. Even with all that power, it was hard to get it to not spin the tires. The tub job solved that and took a good 1.5 seconds off the quarter time.

Did a couple C5 Corvettes since then. Much less work to get those to go fast

I am car shopping these days, so will need to add MB to the list.

Thanks, they're ADV.1's. They look great, but I've had some problems with them. Hopefully it's settled now, they won't go back on till the spring to find out.

Great cars back in the day!
Newer cars can have crazy HP. Look at the new sedan Texex has.
I've never had an AMG!

Maybe some day soon!
