What can you tell me about this watch?

Can anybody tell me if this is of any value or junk?

Likely not valuable, but it might be interesting to see what's under the hood. Can you open the back? If it still tells time, I wouldn't call it junk.

There are a couple on Etsy of all places. There's some value in the gold alone of course. The "Q" seems to denote quartz; a Swiss ETA in the others.

Don't worry, it will be moved.

If not before then for sure when Adam wakes up.

X2

Can't tell if the case is really gold or bad photo.
But only value would be scrap value.

That is a 14k yellow gold Geneve. I own a very similar watch. Test it to find out if it's 14k and if it is most people will only give scrap for it as they are a tough sell.

It still tells time fine. Not sure whats under the hood? Have to look to see how the back pops off?

Any Idea what its worth? If it is 14K.. I am trying to help the owner who was told it was a valuable watch.

Depends on weight. Usually measured in grams.
Approximately $20/gram for gold content only.
