How much it will cost to replace a ss case?

Hi, there is a AP Roo for sale here in my country, the thing is the watch was pvd treated, and I guess dial and hands replaced so one model would look like something else. The watch is horrible, but if I could replace the case, bracelet, dial and hands perhaps I could end up with a nice watch. But for how much? Anyone knows the cost of a new ss case, dial and hands for an AP 44mm in ss? Went to boutique ( without the watch) and they told it would cost as much as a new watch, is this true? I think i can get the watch for just over 7 k.

Thanks and happy 2017 to everyone!

$2200 for bracelet?
$2300 for bezel?
$12-1500 for dial?
$3-500 for hands?
$3000+ for case and case back?

And then a mandatory service cost on top of all that.
Might still be worth paying the $10-11K amount, as I understand Brazil has a high import tariff, which I’m presuming you’d try to mitigate by travelling to Florida, to drop the watch off and collect again?
If not, then factoring in your import duty costs, it may pay off to keep looking for for one that hasn’t been vandalised.

Hi, Thanks for you opinion, so I would be looking at 10 k for repair at least. Yes I could bring it to us to get serviced there, but in this case in could not pay more than 5k for this watch. Maybe not worth the trouble, but thanks a lot for your post.

There's no bracelet for a 44, and if you have the CE bezel, no need to replace that. That's $4500 in savings from PJ's est.
Presuming this is actually a 42 and not 44, the numbers would be pretty close, except the bezel for SS would not be 2300 like for a CE one.

Also, couldn't the PVD coating be taken off?

Hi, yes you are right its a 42. With bracelet, it seems that pvd can not be removed. I think its not a CE bezel. Thanks for your opinion!

Are you sure the watch is genuine? It seems like a lot of trouble and expense to go through. It just seems weird that someone would purchase a genuine AP and then completely destroy ("modify") it like that.

I believe is genuine, I would take it to the service center before paying for the watch, the seller will allow that. So not worried about this, but the service Bill seems to high, steel thinking

Seems like a bad idea. Too much can go wrong.
