AP Purchase Diilemma

I have a number of watches and two APs--- AP royal oak overseas chrono-- steel black with red accents and an AP steel open worked skeleton.

I have had a soft spot for a Royal Oak Chrono-- specifically I am interested in the blue dial version or the Italy special limited edition version (see below). I also really like the new yellow gold on blue dial version but do not really want a gold bracelet. Anyway--- do any of you own a Royal Oak overseas Chrono and Royal Oak Chrono? Redundant? Other Thoughts?

You mean Offshore right? Overseas is Vacheron.

I think they are redundant in a sense, but many people fo own both, up to you!

So sorry I meant offshore. I am selling my VC overseas chrono ... and had that in the back of my mind.

I like the pride of italy actually. Nice color combos, and with a really nice blue or even cuoio colored leather strap is really beautiful.

You’re selling a cracking watch only to buy a watch that’s much the same as two you already own?
Save yourself a fortune, just spend $2K on the Overseas bracelet and be done.

As much as I really like the Tribute to Italy, I think you’re as daft as a brush to throw away the big date, titanium bezel, and raised relief case back that differentiate the Overseas from the RO and Nautilus – and not to mention that bracelet too.

I know what you are saying but I found not wearing often and in fact only wore a few times.. Just did not sing to me as much as I thought it would. The other thought I had and i know not the same watch but getting my first Rolex-- Deepsea blue. Price wise if I do not sell the VC would be about the same investment. However does not serve the issue that I do not wear the VC and not sure if anything will change that.
