3rd year warranty sticker abolished?
Apparently it is online registration only now in Hong Kong, no waterproofing check required before the end of 2nd year, and third year warranty sticker no longer exists.
Is this the same in other countries? |

I was at the boutique in NYC and they said it wasn't necessary to water test it.

They should have done that long ago imo. Does this new policy only applies to new purchases or retroactively? I think I got some APs not yet water tested yet.

Unrelated question but when you get a new AP do they still have the string with "Audemars Piguet" in green still tied to it?
Just got a new 44mm ceramic and it didn't have that. It's not a big deal but curious. |

Yes, that's the AP green tag which bears your watch serial number and it's part of a complete package.

I already registered it for 3rd year warranty. Everything was stamped, dated, etc.... But I just thought it was weird it didn't have the green tag. |

Does the warranty on AP transfer from owner to owner?

Guys, I just sent the form via mail to AP. SO I shouldn't expect a sticker now? How did they notify you guys that the 3rd year was activated? I just don't want to assume, and be assed out in my 3rd year for any issues.

After which, you click on "Register your watch" after you the login. Once you key in all required information, the system will validate and see if your warranty is valid and once information is authenticated. Your watch will be reflected in your profile which deem as successfully registration. |
