Grand Seiko tutorial

Could those with more knowledge give a brief synopsis of the Grand Seiko line? I am aware of the Snowflake. What other watches are there?

Have you any idea how extensive a range there is?
If you'd visited the Grand Seiko website, you’d be up to speed regarding current models.

Anyway…
Quartz – (older models with 8J movement which offered independent hour hand adjustment and 200m WR) using current 9F movement which is a sealed unit, so theoretically offering 50 years service life.
3-hander with date, with some 8J and Anniversary 9F model having day wheel also.

Mechanical – standard 28.8k vph, available in automatic and manual wind. 3-hander with date on all, and GMT on autos.

Mechanical – hi-beat 36k vph available in auto. 3-hander with date, and GMT models.

Spring Drive – 3-hander with date, GMT, chronograph with and without GMT.
Only one model that is manual wind, which is the Platinum, diamond dust dial, triple barrel, 8-day SBGD001 – typically, the manual wind SD movements are reserved for Credors.
