Deepsea deep blue ?

Been offered a deepsea deep blue for £7500
It's used 2014 and in good condition.
Is it a no brainier at that price ?

Money-wise, sounds like a good deal.

If well taken care of and all documentation present, I would go for it. That is, provided I trusted the seller.

That's a good price, no doubt. In the US they sell BNIB on the grey market for close to MSRP (~ $12,000 going by watchrecon.com) and for not much less preowned.

I imagine that they hold their value secondhand in the UK also. I'm picking my new D-Blue from the AD next Monday and am paying considerably more than £ 7,500 :(

do your homework, check the warranty card to make sure it says d-blue. There are some black deep-sea's out there that were switched to a d-blue dial. Let the buyer beware

Not all warranty cards say D-Blue on them.

I have one and my old man has one, neither warranty card says D-Blue. Both bought from European ADs. If the OP is in London and the watch was sold in the UK originally, it may be legit even if D-Blue is omitted from the warranty card.

Me neither, I panicked after I picked mine up and thought I had been given the wrong warranty card. I did some google searches and they all lead back to this forum. I think the general consensus is that only US supplied watches have D-Blue on the warranty card (although this may have changed.)

In answer to the original question though, £7500 is very cheap. I saw a 2014 model go for £10500 not long ago.

D-Blue is my daily wearer and I would highly recommend it! Lovey watch.

The lack of D blue on warranty cards has been discussed before on here as some folks thought they had been ripped off or just suspicious..

From memory think the European ones including U.K. Don't have it written on but the rest of the world does. Seems odd but there you go.

** disclaimer....this is from memory and might not be exactly right.

Just yesterday I saw an unworn one on Blowers I think it was for £12500, so yes if this is not a private sale then it's a fantastic price depending on condition and it's a full set..

As I have read on here time and again....buy the seller not the watch.

Seems like good advice to me.

as stated above, some warranty cards do not display d-blue, yet ARE deep blue watches. Different from country to country...

Be careful. Old saying - if it looks too goo to be true, it usually is! That's a bonkers price when they are going for 10/11k 3yrs old. Now a Black Sea dweller, that's about right for a 2/3 yr old model......

Be very careful, fakes and frankens of this are very good now and the price is very low, £3K too low in fact. Check the serials match but it could also be stolen. I'd probably pass unless you can get RSC to verify it is not stolen.

Same here. I panicked when I first got mine! But research shows that U.K. Ones don't carry blue on card
