Who makes the OP X movement for Paneria?
Hi Guys,
Who makes the OP X Movement for Paneria? It is found in the Pam00112 and many other models. I don't think it is one of there in house movements. Thanks, Eric |

I think it's either an ETA / Unitas mvt for the base handwound models and valjoux for the automatics

Also, any OP I, II, X, XI movement are their non in house movements. Doesn't mean they are not valuable. The JLC 8 day movement manual is a HIGHLY sought after movement in the Panerai line. Their in house movements are designated by year they were introduced, like P.2002, P.2003, etc.

It's a $75 Unitas pocket watch movement with some "make-up" and a swan neck regulator. ![]() A lot of folks look down that watches that use ETA movements but let's face it... they are the work horse of the watch world and they are dead reliable. It never bothered me a bit.
