New Sub- help me find one?

Hi to all, I'm new to this forum, and indeed to the world of Rolex if I'm honest. So apologies if this has already been asked.

After about 20 years of contemplation, I've finally decided to buy a black SS Sub date. Over the last few weeks I have visited a few dealers and unfortunately they have told me there is a long waiting list, 12 months +. I have therefore looked on the internet and various non authorised dealers popped up offering nearly new, unworn for £1000 more than brand new retail. Which to me is a bit like being a dodgy ticket tout, but hey.

The upshot of all this being, does anyone know where I can get a new one without the wait and without being a bit stiffed in the process?

Many thanks.

Stick with the ADs, I have seen a couple in the windows over the last few weeks.
A 114060 in Chester about a month ago and a 116610 in Liverpool about 10 days ago. Few and far between but you can get lucky. No chance of a discount but don't pay over RRP. GOOD LUCK

As above you'll get one. Pop into some ADs and be nice and chatty....ring back every month or so and sooner or later they'll have one for you. I'd not pay over list for anything, certainly not a standard sub.

Echoing the the sentiments here. Add yourself to a waiting list - offer to pay a deposit. Most SS sports model aren't readily available but I think the wait times are somewhat exaggerated at times.

Take a flight to Kuwait, they are so easy to get new and used...

Silly idea I know, I just think its crazy how limited they are in the UK.

Good luck!
