advice? how to post on classifieds? help re: datejust sale
Hello :)
I was hoping somebody could help out / offer some advice. I am trying to sell my Datejust on this forum as well as i put it up on some other websites. I can't seem to find my advert and wether it was posted or not. Also, any advice regarding how to properly price & etc? Sorry - i am super new to this forum and forums in general but several friends / watch collectors have advised me that it's the best palce to buy/sell Rolex's and i am looking to upgrade from mine. Any help would be helpful! my email is : ValentineMoroz@gmail.com |

First, you have to be a supporting pledge member, but I see you figured that out already.
It's possible that with no post history, the mods have deleted your post. It would certainly help you sell it if you were an active participant on the forum with a post count greater than 1. As for pricing, just search the for sale forum and see what others are asking for theirs. Consider that with no sales history, folks may be hesitant to buy from you. Take lots of really good pictures, describe all flaws and price it reasonably. eBay may be a better option for you. HTH.

Thanks M J B! i looked around on ebay/craigslist.. but seems like a lot of inventory with questionable quality and low prices, as well as the commission you have to pay feels like a loose loose for me and the other person.
How are you liking your daytona btw? that's the watch i want to switch to:) |

If you follow the rules you will not have any problems.
When you want to buy you post in the wanted to buy forum. When you want to sell you post in the sales forum. Each forum has sets of rules listed at the top of the page in sticky threads. It is important that you read and follow the rules. If you post classifieds posts/threads in any other forum other than the relevant classifieds forum the thread/post will be deleted. Persistent failure to follow the rules/protocols will result in suspension and cancellation of participation privileges.

Thanks for helping. I just re-read all the rules and tried to repost but realized only after it said "going to moderator" that I forgot to mention about delivery / transfer fee. Also by accident started title with FS instead of FSOT. Can you suggest if there is a way to find the previously submitted posting and edit it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
