Well on chrono24 which is a pretty good reference for prices, some dealers are overpriced but some are usually spot on, I think the ti Schumi is around 42k, I really like it but some here find it too grey, in any case I prefer the Schumi to the RB2, but both are very nice, just the Schumi is probably the coolest limited edition 44 made by AP

Wow sorry but not 42, around 56-59, amazing, some time ago they were still around 45 if I am not mistaken, about a year ago I had considered one and it was clearly in the mid 40's, I would not even even considered it at more than 42-45, quite the increase and too high for it to be interesting for me to consider one day, would have thought 50 would be the maximum for them but I was wrong

That MB&F looks like my radar detector. Solid choice on the RB2.

Yes I think it has seen a quite price hike (looking from the prices of last few years in watchprosite, you could find one few years ago for 40k USD mint).

Aesthetically I prefer the Schumi Ti more than the RB2 although the gray is not for everyone

the MB&F is not just a timepiece but ART, you must keep that in mind when showing it to others.. art affects different people in different ways but it's purpose is to evoke emotion (good and bad).. but even with hatred there is appreciation.

that being said, the RB2 is sexy watch and a classic but i never understood how the market crashed on most everything besides a select few pieces (AP)

i have an HM5 and it's a gorgeous watch, time passes a little differently when you wear art on your wrist, i first experienced this with URWERK and now most recently with the HM5... you dont see an hour hand reflecting how much of the hour has passed and how much remains.. but you always see "the time"

Nicely said, do you have pics of your Urwerk? Would love to see them, my favorite is the black 105, and from MB&F the black HM5, just too scared for now to put that kind of cash into one, might change with some good enabling, if you can put as much pics of both as possible

Nicely said, do you have pics of your Urwerk? Would love to see them, my favorite is the 210 black hawk, but it costs a fortune, even if I sold all my watches I would still need to add a ton of cash, in second comes the black 105, and from MB&F the black HM5, just too scared for now to put that kind of cash into one, might change with some good enabling, if you can put as much pics of both as possible, not sure if I prefer the MB&F or the Urwerk, for you which brand is better?

I would pick the RBII, unless I had an extensive collection and was hypothetically bored with any traditional choice.

AP in this situation. Now it would be harder for me to pick if it was an MB&F perpetual calendar.

Not for me, in carbon it is my favorite one from them, not a huge fan of the other models, interesting but have a hard time imagining wearing one, whereas the HM5 is very wearable

Wow just went through the thread and the only for the HM5 is an actual owner and me, too bad as I find it really cool, for those who knew the 70's hard not to be attracted to it, for the others harder but still surprised not more in favor of it over the AP, one of the reasons I am not getting one or an Urwerk is scared of difficulty to sell it if needed, I guess I am more than right on that...
