Is there a bark finished day date (1807) with a blue dial?
Hi everyone,
I usually just browse and consume your knowledge as mine doesn't come close, but I could not figure this one out by just searching: I am intrigued by the 1807 reference and its bark finish. However, i can't forget this beautiful specimen (no bark finish) Now, my question: Has there ever been a bark finish day date with a blue dial? Thanks, Robert |

Bark finish had the same dial selection as any other day date.

You could find a really nice 1807 regardless of dial color then find a really nice blue dial and for 50 bucks a watchmaker will put it on there for you!
A word about vintage blue dials; they tend to peel especially around the lume plots, check them carefully. |

I really like the bark finish. The blue looks great with both finishes though.

Will be tough to find an 1807 with a blue dial. Chances are you will have to source them separately. That's what I did with my 18078.

I prefer the slim version, but was it simply an option, similar to the dial colour? |
